In 2007 I bought a brand new 32” Toshiba HDTV; Design #32HL67 for $800. Early this past year I realized that occasionally after I switched it on I had been ready to listen to the audio but might see no image. I named Toshiba’s Customer Support and was handed a summary of Television repair center telephone numbers. I named Help Audio & Television Service Corp., Flushing NY. It costs me $326.63 to correct (They fixed it twice since the 1st fix didn’t solve the problem but neither did the Next) It’s today 2011 and that I am still getting the same issue. I've to show it off and on about 15 to 20 times before it'll display any image. That is my 2nd Toshiba Television. I've not a problem using the additional one bought in 1990s.
I purchased a toshiba notebook and also the display died on me soon after annually and also the guarantee has ran out. I contact toshiba service division and requested to get a cost to repair. The individual I had been speaking also couldn't provide me a cost. He explained to publish the pc for them so when their manufacture discovers what's incorrect withit they'll subsequently provide me a cost. If-then I don't such as the cost for fixing it, it'll charge me £80 in order for them to return it or they'll ruin it at no cost. Exactly what a fraud? I'll never purchase another toshiba pc again since their after-sale assistance support is disgraceful to express minimal.
