Coby Electronics worst customer service ive ever experienced - coby lcd 40" tv

My wife and i purchased a 40" lcd flat screen coby tv from K-Mart in june. After a couple of months use my wife discovered what appears to be mold on the back of the set. She cleaned the back and sure enough the mold has reappeared. After several cleanings and reacurance of this problem we contacted coby tv customer service.[what a joke]They had us send pictures to them via e-mail and they said they would get back to us. After waiting 2 weeks with no response we contacted them and began to get the run around for almost 3 months before they decided to ship my tv to their corporate headquarters in New York for inspection. On the date of shipping UPS did'nt even want to touch the tv because of this mold. Did i tell you that it ended up costing me money to ship this defective piece of junk back to them. I then called their so called customer service and was told they would not refund the $60.00 i had to spend out of pocket and they began to get very cocky and arrogant! Do not belive this company when they say they will return your phone calls cause they never do. So as it stands today i paid 429.00 for a tv i dont have and $60.00 to ship a tv i dont have with no explanation on how long this process is going to take. I would urge anyone out there to stay as far away from coby products as possible. This company does not value its customers, it only values your money!!!
