It appears that every consumer who has purchased a Coby TV has the same problem: after a few months, the TV makes a "pop" sound, and then quits working. It is as if Coby has deliberately put a defect in their TVs, and refuses to admit to or acknowledge the problem, will not honor warranties or fix the TVs. And what is worse, local TV repair shops cannot fix Coby TVs either. So you will be out about 300 or so dollars that you could have put towards a real TV. I hope that word gets out to every consumer and store not to sell or buy Coby. I just purchased a new TV, and hope I didn't get a lemon here either.
