Our Coby TV worked for about 1 year. We bought it through Fry's Electronics. No, we didn't buy the expensive extended warranty. Now the TV has to be turned on with the remote several times (upwards of 25) before it will finally stay on. When you buy a TV it should last more than a year. Why are we as a nation buying JUNK from foreign countries and reselling it here in the US. My US made TVs still play after 10 years. Yes, we take care of our equipment, keep it dust free and on surge protection. Coby=trash!
