I've been a loyal customer to ATT wireless for a year. I've seen high bills and pay for them without a word. I switched from digital to gsm and they charged me $16 per line for 2 lines without disclosing the charges when I transfered and I didn't say anything.
They started charging me for voice dial on 2 lines when I switched to gsm $7.98 a month and I didn't request any voice dial on my phone lines, I kept calling for 2 months and finally I got them to credit me back for the voice dial charges plus a $4 on my bill showing additional minutes but it has no calls made records (hint: questionnable billing).
Now I'm sick and tired of all these games and I'd like to get rid of one line which is a part of one account with two line, so basically getting rid of the second line and keeping the main line but they said they're going to charge me $175 if I wanna keep one line only, that's ridiculous and if i want to disconnect both lines then I'm going to pay $175 for each line early termination fees totalling $350.
This company is out of hand and need to be stopped, as soon as I swtiched to gsm the srvice is bull, lots of static, barely any signal strength anf if you move the phone from ear to ear then you can't hear the person you're talking to.
How ridiculous this company is, they allow their crappy customer service to talk nasty to customers who pay thousands of dollars to pay their own salaries. Now how is this too much to ask or you would penalize your customer for downgrading service. Having a family plan with two phones on one account, I need to get a rid of one line and keep the main line (I'm still going to be your customer, only getting a rid of the other line) and you want to charge me $175 even though the account is going to stay open with a single line on it.
That's outrageous, abuse of power, and it's going to deter any future customers I know from subscribing to your service when they hear what I have to say and I'm going to get a rid of the second line and not pay the $175 and see what the media and the better business bureau have to say about this.
