Ugh. Yet another shady chinese LED company, Orphek, seems to have bitten the dust. 1/4th of my PR-156 fixture from Orphek has gone bad (won't turn on), and guess what? No response about the issue from Orphek staff, and even more suspicious: no phone number for the company on their website!
Of course Orphek's website is free of useful contact information. Who doesn't have contact info on their website? Companies trying to rip you off, thats who. And Orphek is definitely a ripoff. If I hadn't bought the unit from Marine Depot I would have been completely ripped off.
Marine Depot employees also mentioned that they may stop carrying Orphek LED lights due the fact that they can't get Orphek to give customers (or them) service worth a dang. I hope they do stop carrying Orphek lights, this is unforgivable. These lights cost over $800!
Chinese led lighting companies are popping up everywhere, and Orphek LED lighting is just another one to come and go. I should have realized this before purchasing. Learn from my mistake!!!
