Reachout wireless / free government cell phones / this is a scam
When you apply for a free cell phone, they obtain all your necessary information then tell you to wait a couple of weeks to receive a pink slip and your free phone.
After my wait time and no pink slip or cell phone, I called several times only to be hung up by several Indian reps. After continued insistance and more calls, I was told by the indians that they could not register me for a phone because there was already an account with my information on file.
Many, and let me tell you many attempts to speak to a superior went unanswered. Finally spoke to an indian superior who provided me with apologies and he gave me an enrollment number along with my assigned cell phone number. After several weeks of waiting again, still no pink slip or cell phone, I made another fifty calls to try to contact a rep with authority. Again I was informed that I already had and account and they were not able to help me any further.
After another ten or twenty calls and hours on the telephone, I was told that a new enrollment number would be assigned and that I would receive a cell phone after another few weeks of waiting. This so-called free Government Cell phone is not worth the time. Had I done a google search for reviews on REACHOUT WIRELESS, I would have saved me all this time and agravation because every review on their page is BAD. No one has anything nice to say about this company. Stay away from this company.
