I purchased Lg chocolate when it was new on the market. I don't think we had it longer than a few months if that. It wasnt working because the screen went white after six weeks. During that time someone had been texting however we were not aware as the screen was white each time we attempted to get a visual on it. Soon we were getting calls that our account was going to be closed because it showed a balance of 1000.00 in charges.
My point to verizon is that we were not aware we getting text messages because we could not see the screen and we asked for it to be repaired or replaced. Verizon did not ablige instead they told us that we would be able to use the warranty if we pay the bill and if we did not they would take action. After several threatning letters we paid the 1000.00 dollars and dropped verizon. We still have the phone in a brand new box and verizon is history. They advised me there was no recall on the LG chocolate. As a result I recommend other phones to friends and family but not LG and not verizon because they would not back their product in any way shape or form.
