Family plan as of end of August with 4 phones. Two of which are LG touch screen phones: the "Dare" and the "Nve".
Now, one year and a few weeks later, the Dare broke (again). The Nve has been replaced 3 times due to touch screen issues. The Dare has the same touch screen issues and has been replaced once, in February.
Verizon's policy is: they warrant the product for one year, and replace with refurbished phones.
LG's policy: they warrant their phones up to one year, or 15 months after manufacturing.
The Dare, that is now broken was a replacement in February (refurbished model) that was manufactured in October. So from day one too old to be replaced by LG in case it would break down again. Verizon apparently replaces broken phones with old ones. Bad policy when it comes to fast changing electronic devices! The Dare no longer is under warranty because its initial purchase date was in august. Verizon reasons we should have bought the extended warranty. I reason a product that expensive should have a reasonable life expectancy of one year at least. These products all broke after half a year and should be replaced by a free new one. NOt so thinks Verizon. NOt so thinks LG.
Very bad customer service for such a big company.
