I purchased a cell phone from Best Buy and purchased the Black Tie protection also. I was informed that Best Buy would fix the phone or replace it if anything ever happened to it. The first time I began having problems with my phone I returned it to Best Buy. I was told to take it to Sprint. Sprint would not fix it becaue I was not insured under them but Best Buy. They finally agreed to fix it after I was near tears. The nect time an issue arose with my phone, I took it back to Best Buy. They informed me I would have to get it repaired and the phone would be shipped. There is nothing in my contract that says the phone would be shipped for repair. I was under the impression that the Geek Sqaud who is on site would repair it. I called customer service and the guy was very rude and snide with me. It is going on three weeks and I am still out of a phone and out of money.
