Best buy is not honoring their black tie protection plan that I purchased on 11/29/1010 for my cell phone. I purchased an IPhone from bust buy and they encouraged me to protect my investment with their geek squad black protection plan. As it is stated in their policy"we will protect your mobile phone from accidental damage durning handling, power surges and everyday wear, and this was stress to me by the sales rep, if anything happened to my phone it would be replaced at no cost to me if I purchased this protection plan. I lost my phone at a sports complex and I went looking for it. I found it and it was totally damaged from them mowing the fields. I took it back to best buy and filled out a a service order to replace my phone because I had purchased the protection plan. The next day I received a call from best buy geek squad informing me that they would not replace my phone. Best buy is profiting off of false advertising and not honoring their agreements. As I stated earlier the black tie protection plan does not specifically excludes any type of damages.
