My instinct phone wasn't working well and I took it in to the store to be repaired. Efore I got to the repair area a salesman approached me and asked what I was there for. I advised the issue and he said let me see if your eligible for an update. I said OK. He checked he then told me I have a few months left yet, but he had an idea!

I could open a new line and get a new phone, put the old phone on the new and get a new number for the old phone. When when my contract was up transfer the new phone and my old number to the new contract and then the contract that was expiring could just be dropped. I'd have a new phone, the old number and a contract with them.

I went to cancel the old phone with the new number and transfer everything like he said with customer service and they stated that they can't do that. I complained and complained spoke to the supervisor and they told me to go back to the store and I told them if you can't do it whats the point because they call sprint customer service anyway all the time.

Apparently according to Sprint customer service they can't do this because of the FCC rules and regulations. Then they should train their employees better, because if this has happened to me, then their are others that this has happened to.

So I am out at least $700.00 plus they sold me some home telephone black box that absolutely sucks because I would save on the new phone I purchased $200.00

So I have this old phone that I have to keep for another 16 mo's and a telephone system that doesn't work probably either.
