Aug 27 I was laid off from my job. SO to reduce expenses I called Sprint PCS (whom I'd had since 2000). I wasn't under any contract. I informed the rep I wanted to canel the account & work payment arrangements (I had not paid the current bill) since I'd just been laid off. The rep refused to allow me to cancel the account.
I was informed that until the bill falls 3 months behind or I pay up the bill the account would not be cancelled. I tried to explain I just lost my job. (no income). The rep acted like she didn't care.
I got so mad I told the rep to note I REFUSE to pay for unused service after this date & until sprint come to its senses & helps its customers I will NOT use their service or pay this bill.
Now sprint is still trying to collect $300 on 3 months of service I never got. Sprint has also damaged my credit report. & after 2 years of trying to rectify this sprint still refuses to work with me, all sprint wants is your money. All I want is to pay what I owe.
Also I found sprints service laughable. Neither my wife nor I could never use our cell phones in our own home, We had to walk outside to use our sprint cell phones. What's even more funny is the cell tower is less than a mile from my house?
DON'T use sprint PCS.
