I received a defective phone and was told to return it to the warehouse. I was told that I would have it back in 5 days from the time they received it. I shipped it on March 29, through UPS. I tracked it and they received the phone on April 1.
I waited a week and then called them because I hadn't heard anything from them. They said the warehouse never received it. I told them that I had poof that they received it on April 1 and that it was signed for. They told me that I would have to call later when the warehouse was open. I did and was told the same thing.
After I told them that I tracked it and they did receive it, they said that they would be shipping it back to me the next day. I have called 6 times now and have been told 5 times that they were sending the phone out the next day and I still have not received my phone back. On each phone call I get a Customer Service Rep that is very hard to understand because they don't talk English very well. I have also been put on hold for long periods of time only to be told one lie after another.
They have caused so much turmoil over a simple little phone that I got for my teenage son for safety precautions. All I asked for was a working phone.
To some it all up, Tracfone is very dishonest and I do NOT recommend anyone to ever go through them. Tracfone only frustrates you to a point that you dread calling them but do anyways because you want what you paid for and then you still don't get anywhere.
