Online Insurance A Waste of Time

So, on 4/22 in the morning, I use Best Buy 's online service to Order a Wii and a Wii Fit game for my wife's birthday. The service confirms that the products are in-store, but I'd get a call to confirm. However, the online service also notes that certain computers are down, and to check back later to confirm. I called four hours later and was told that there are delays caused by the computers having been "down." Later, I check back and the automated service indicates that both products are in-store and ready for pick up. I drive 30 minutes to the store, only to be told that, well, one product (the Wii) is in the store; the other is on the truck in the back of the store ready to be delivered. When I asked how long it'd take, I was told, "Well, it could be five minutes, could be 15." I asked if it was possible for it to be a couple of hours?"Yes." I asked for advice. The attendant said, "Well, that's up to you." Here's the deal, Best Buy... When you indicate a product's in the store, it should be in the store waiting for the customer to pick it up. If the customer travels to pick it up and "it's on the truck, " have someone go back the truck AND GET IT." I will now have wasted two full hours to pick up a product that, frankly, I'll buy next time from someone else. And the service in the store was, honestly, not very good — but more in line what what I've come to expect at Best Buy — mostly overindulgent children who generally look down on customers as if they're doing us a favor. Uh, no thanks. Very disappointing.
