We purchased a 42" Silo Television from www.woot.com When we rec'd the TV the sound didn't work correctly. The sound will quit working and you have to turn the TV off for a few min then turn it back on. Woot's website said to contact the manufacturer for repairs.
The manufacturer told us the product had been stolen from them and sold to woot.com so they will not warranty the product.
We cannot contact woot by phone only by email. We sent them an email to [email protected] to try to get a return authorization. Unfortunately their website states they may or may not get back to us. If they do give us a return authorization we will have to pay to ship it back to them and then possibly get a refund for the purchase price minus the shipping.
This is absurd!!! If you sell a product you should stand behind it or at least take the measures to make it right with the customer. The customer shouldn't have to pay anything to return it if it is defective!!! We also shouldn't have to hunt someone down by email to try to return it. It's not our fault the product was bad to begin with!
