I purchased a gigabyte mother board and a intel e5700 chip for my computer form COMP USA the fisrt board did not work I took it back to COMPUSA and explained the problem and error codes the board was showing. Their Tech exchanged the board but not the chip I tried the new board and could not get the computer to boot. When I brought the second mother board back to COMPUSA Their tech checked the motherbord and said a socket 775 pin was bent they refused to replace mother board and told me to call the manufacturer for replacement when I asked for the Manufacturer's phone number I was told the number was in taiwan or china I asked if the people overseas spoke english I was told HOW SHOULD I KNOW I took the board home and inspected both the chip and the socket 775 THERE IS NO WAY I COULD HAVE BENT THE SOCKET PIN WITHOUT DAMAGE TO THE CHIP, THE CHIP IS FINE. Beware if you buy from compusa
