Purchase (what I thought was a new boost mobile phone) from 4th Avenue Wireless. 1 days after the phone was purchase I start having technical issues with the telephone. I returned the phone to the company for a refund and was told that the company does not offer refunds. I later look at my receipt and discovered that the company had over charge me by $30 for tax and fees namely a fee to port a number over from one carrier to another. Contacting both Boost and T-Mobile I discovered that no such fee exist to port a wireless number from one cellphone company to another in NYS.
This was a fraudulent fee charge to unsuspecting individuals, fees 4th Avenue Wireless hope would go unnoticed on the part of the consumer.
I had to take this company to small claims court to recover my money, case still pending.
P.S. I was only one of many consumers in the Mount Vernon, NY area who've file a complaint against this company. Yet, the company is still allow to remain in business and perpetrate these fraudulent charges as well as sell cheap fake cell phone and accessories to consumers.
