The company lied to be about what I was buying and when I figured it out an hour later, refused to refund my money. I gave Grand Central Photo the make and model of the camera I wanted which sold for $3200 by most other vendors but sold by GCP for only $2600. They told me twice before I bought the camera (on Jan 25) that it was the exact same camera sold by other vendors but were able to sell it cheaper because they bought a mass quantity of this camera. One hour after the order was placed, I wanted to cancel my order because I found out the lens of the camera I bought from them was of a much cheaper quality than what is sold by other vendors. Grand Central Photo admitted that this was true and stated this was part of the reason why the camera was cheaper - they made no mention of this before I gave them my credit card number to purchase the camera. If I had known this, I would have never ordered the camera from GCP. My order was placed over a month ago and they are still refusing to refund my money. They are charging me $700 in fees to return the camera even though they told me (when I called them to return the camera 1 hour after the order was made) that I would not be charged anything but shipping.
