It would appear that Qwest has noticed the number of complaints about TCI on their billing. I had a chance to review their billing practices. I also questioned the bill and the Qwest Rep stayed on the line with me as I notified them of termination. That was several months ago but last week we received a bill for $10.27. This bill has no billing period or any other explanation of services. Only that my local phone company had reversed the bill. It seems that that another tactic of theirs is that they charge for a calling card, which is used to make discounted and free long distance calls but in our case we never received it. They burry somewhere in their supposed mailing, which we never received, that one has got to actually request it, that they dont just send them out to anyone. So youre billed for a service that they dont even openly support. Theyre just going to have to come get the ten bucks. I suggest that everyone having trouble with these guys contact the FCC or Federal authorities, because they do business across state lines Interstate commerce is involved one might think and in addition contact their State Attorney Generals Office.
