Black Tie warranty will not cover reprogramming remote

I was told when buying remote to buy black tie option. Told me it would cover everything. I specifically asked if I changed tv providers would they cover to reprogram. Answer yes. Now it's not covered. What a scam. No help from manager Mike B. He had no concern. What a rip off Best Buy is. Store is located in Bayshore NY.
