I purchased a Nikon D90 camera, 55-200 mm lens, and 4GB memory card from this individual/company using the website, ioffer.com, in the amount of $500. I paid via my credit card using paypal.
I waited patiently for my package to arrive in the designated time of 2-3 weeks as the seller had quoted. Being anxious to receive the package, I continued communication with the seller via ioffer's website. He/she mentioned never responded to my request for a tracking #. My final attempt to contact the seller, I used the email address he had given to paypal to receive funds. Still no response.
After waiting what I felt to be a legitimate amount of time, (4 weeks), I contacted my credit card company and reported this as a dispute claim as well as paypal.
7 weeks after I purchased the camera, I received an express package in the mail from China. I was unsure what it could be because I had purchased other items as well. I signed the paper for the postal worker and opened the package.
The package contained a 50g piece of silver from the Beijing 2008 Olympic games. Not even close to what I had purchased—and much less expensive.
Again, I contacted my credit card company and paypal to inform them of the item received and they are waiting to hear from the "seller".
