I will preface the below statements with the fact that a close personal friend of mine worked for techsmartstore for 6 months, and every price quoted and statement is factual and true. But be warned the prices may be higher now depending on when you read this.
Techsmartstore.com, or techsmart, or smart industries, or whatever hidden name they use to hide who and what they are, is a company that sets up shop in military towns and preys upon US service men and women with advertisements on their website techsmartstore.com and at their mall kiosk. You will see items such as flat screen tv's, camcorders and all in one pc's, for prices as low as $20.
Unbelievable right. Well the company's whole goal is to get service men and women to put down maybe 50 bucks, maybe nothing at all, but just as long as they are an active member of the military or marines and sign their names (in blood) on a piece of paper, that says in very fine print the true cost of one of these electronics items.
And what is that cost, the salesperson will never tell them, heck, they might not even give them a copy of the papers. But they will give them say a nintendo wii, which can be bought for about $150 tax at best buy. But at tech smart, that item will cost about $853.00 not inlcuding extra fees.
So you ask yourself, who in their right mind would pay that much for an item that only cost $150. Answer, young naive 16,17, 18,19 year old service men and women from extremely poor familys, with no grasp on finances or credit. These are individuals who make very little pay, have no credit, and this techsmart, tells them, they can have all the fun things they ever wanted, just if they sign their name.
So you say, why don't these guys, once they realize what they got theirselves into, just refuse to pay these exorbant prices, and return the items. Answer, Returns are not taken unless item is unopened and unused. And if they decide not to pay, techsmart tricks the buyers into giving them access to their service pay accounts, and they deduct the pay directly from there.in addition techsmart reports anyone who refuses to pay, to their service division superiors, getting the buyer disciplined.
This companys CEO Duncan Wood pays himself $200 an hour and tells everyone within ear shot "F& them, as long as I get my money." This company is pure evil and preys upon individuals who risk their lives for our country everyday. There needs to be an uprisal and somehow, someone get this info to the higher up in the military and the marines and tell them to educate the starting cadets to boycott this company at all cost.
Because techsmart is not stopped, their are service families with children and bills that have no money for baby food and diapers because techsmartstore.com preyed upon them, and takes all of their money out of their accounts before they can use it to feed their family.
Their was a techsmart hate site that was extinguished by the high priced lawyers tech smarts CEO Duncan Wood can afford. But their needs to be another one. Please stop this evil company from destroying the lives of our proud, brave United States Service men and women.
