This company cheated us, did not give enough information and now want 300 dolloars to cancell, and lied to us

*warning to all who want to change satellite dish:*

We changed to this satellite company because they promised so many things for a good price for a couple of months, and after a couple of months the price would go up, reasonable. I was happy at first but then again they promised:

-DVR
-HD channels
-high quality
-good price

*Now after everything was installed, well the channels i used to have were not there after even asking for children channels, but this was not the big deal. If i wanted them i had to pay *$13 dollars extra since they dont let you add single channels.
*Then i had to make some calls because one reciever was changing channels by itself.
*One remote control was not working properly.
*It has not even been a week since we are costomers and the DVR reciever already broke. I have been without television for 3 days and i was told it could take up to 10 days.
*I was asked my credit card and They gave me a payment of $50.00 without any reason. I'm supposed to get it back but still no luck.
*None of my channels are HD, they are actually not very good qulity
*VERY IMPORTANT*
Dish-Network said nothing about a contract while they were making the sale.
The man who came to my home to install the recievers was the one with the papers, he spoke in our foregin language and he only said that it was the papers for the installation and hardware what we were signing. Now they are saying it was a 2 year contract.
We have had so many bad experiences in such little time with this company and now that we want to cancel they said we must pay them $300 dollars, what are they crazy, do they think money grows on trees with how bad the economy is?

We ended up with:
-No HD
-Broken reciever
-Less channel
-customer support that most of the time dont even understand what we are asking
-and very very disapointed
-and possibly a broken remote control too
-and still waiting for my $50.00

These people lied to and cheated us, hopefully i have learned a valuable lesson and a very good reason why you should realy consider before going to this company.

Now im stuck with them for 2 more years unless i pay $300
