Direct tv won't refund for service not rendered. Senior citizen needs help! Hot springs

Upon moving to a new location I was hoping to transfer my subscription with Direct TV service. I was told when I cancelled the present service that they would transfer my monthly credit to my new address service location. When they arrived to my new address I was informed by the technician that they could not pick up a strong enough satellite signal and recommended that I choose a cable service instead. I was also told that another technician would confirm his findings and
recommendations.

In the meantime, after waiting for weeks for their follow up technician to arrive, I did go ahead and subscribe to my local cable company. Finally the technician arrives to inform me that the first technician was wrong and I could indeed have their satellite service. I then called their customer office and was told that they would reimburse me the fees for canceling my cable service so I could go ahead and set up installation for Direct TV. When the installers arrived they said the first observation was correct and I could not have their service due to poor satellite signal. Luckily, I had not cancelled my cable service.

Months passed and I then noticed that for 5 months if not 6, Direct TV had been charging my credit card for service that I did not have. I called their customer service and they do confirm that I did not set up for their service. I returned their 3 receivers as I was asked so they could reimburse me for the months I was charged. However, they have not done so. I have called many times and they told me to file a letter of dispute to their corporate offices in CA. I did so even though there should be no dispute whatsoever. They charged me for services that were never installed. Up to this day, I have not received any update on my refund. They keep giving me the runaround. I am totally frustrated. Should I report them to the Better Business Bureau? Any suggestions?
