I've live in Vancouver Canada, and I've purchased a $1599 US Professional monitor from Bexel Boardcast Service in Burbank for my company Last week. The purpose for purchasing this monitor is for it to be part of my camera rental package, and it is scheduled to go out on rental the day after it arrived. The monitor arrived at my door broken, and when I explain my situation to the company they did nothing trying to solve my problem, no apologies, and I was losing money everyday without a monitor available to go out.
As of Friday today, 4 days later from the time I got my dead monitor, they finally ship out a replacment, and at the mean time I've spent countless long distance phone the with them trying to fix their mistakes. The replacment monitor won't be here until next Tuesday and that is if I am lucky, which means I'll loss at least 3 more days of rental because of this incident, if this monitor works.
The whole situation is just nightmare, I've purchase equipments all the time from US, and I've never seem such non professional conducts from a supposedly established company. I've had better experiences purchasing from Ebay. This will be the last time I ever even talks to this company again. On the other hand, another Burbank based company is the best company I've ever have the honor to deal with. Not saying they never make any mistakes, but when they ship me a faulty products all that's needed is a simple phone call, and they immidiately ship out a replacment the same day. Bexel should really take a good look at their company policy and really learn how to deal with things professionally. Most important of all DO NOT SELL faulty products to their cilents!
