On March 26, I called my wireless provider, AT & T Mobility. I called to cancel my account due to contract end date. Gave Customer Rep all info required, then I asked about residual billing.
She explained that I will be billed another month and will have to pay it. I asked why can't a prorated bill be sent and she advised that they don't prorate any longer. I advised her that since I cancelled on my end date and followed rules of cancellation that I should only be charged for 3 days (24,25, and 26 March).
She again explained no prorate and offered no other solutions to this outrageous answer. I also explained that if I had cancelled prior to contract end date that I would be penalized $150.00USD, and that is crazy.
It seeems as if AT & T wants to not let you go and keep scamming people for more money.
