My Verizon V325i cell phone was connected to its charger on 01/10/09 for 30 minutes before it litterrally "blew up", sending the battery across the room to land on the hardwood floor in my kitchen, scaring my wife half to death, and burning 2 deep spots in the floor before she picked it up with a towel, which started smoking, and threw it and the battery onto the garage floor concrete, where I stamped it out before it started a fire. The kitchen filled with smoke. The phone looked physically OK, except for soot on it. Pretty scary to know that this could have happenned while my grandchildren were playing in the kitchen, or if we weren't home and it could start my house on fire. I tried to contact Verizon immediatly, could not get a real person, so e-mailed company with specifics, 24 hours later, still no response, so I'm notifying you.
