Our local phone company is Verizon phone company. For the last year i have had trouble with my phone either we have no service at all or can not receave calls or make calls. I have informed the company several times that i have 2 persons in my home that are handicaped and that i can not go without service.
On the last service call to our home to fix the problem the service man ran a phone line under my back door and across my kitchen floor, not nest to the baseboards, but the middle of the floor to a cordless phone on kitchen counter. My husband had his leg removed this year and while he was in rehab in another city is when the line was run. My husband came home for Christmas and he went in to kitchen and almost fell on wire.
Our phone service went out again on new years eve and on new years day he had to go to emergency room and we had no way to call for help. He was put into hospital and was to come home yesterday but Verizon was going to come to fix our phone so i had to have some one else to pick him up and bring him home. The service person never did show up so i called again today was on the phone for a long time i ask several times to speak to a supervisor and was transferred but did not get to anyone. Customer service, each time, told me the service person will be here between 3 and 6 pm and he would have to put in the order to rewire our house. We have paid for inside wire maintance for nearly 30 years and we have 8 phone jacks in our home and not one of them works. Our only service come under our back door and across my kitchen floor.
The service person did not show up again to day. I need help but the customer service said i can not talk to any one but them and they are not fixing any thing some one let me know what i can do.
