This door to door salesman, came to my house offering what was to good to be true. I should have known better. He offered a price locked in for life, Free HBO and Cinamax and PayPerView Channels for life, 10% off my cell phone bill if I combined the bills, equiptment to power my television in case of a black out and other things I'm to embarassed to admit to believing.
The instulation caused extensive damage to the concrete on the side of my house. The tool they used to tunnel underground hit the foundation and caused the concrete walkway to seperate from the house. They promised to fix it, but I can't get anyone to even return a call as to when.
As far as the FIOS service, its not better then Time Warner. They offer 100 channels of HD. But they don't all broadcast in HD. Their Multiroom DVR records about 22 hours in HD, not the 100 hours as claimed. The 100 hours is only non-HD recording.
The one thing that is faster is the internet speed. But I can live without it, its not much of a difference unless you spend a lot of time downloading.
Basically, their representatives on the phone were nice enough, but I was promised a call back 4 times and I'm still waiting. Their response is my report was escalated to the department manager. I guess the manager's phone isn't working.
