When my portable dvd player would not stay running it was sent to the repair service dept in Utah.
They did not fix the problem in fact they made more problems and broke the latch.
I was told by the repair people in utah several stories of what they did or should of done and to not pick up the player but to have the store return it to the service dept in utah.
Mean while several new managers were in and out of the local store where i purchased it and each promissing to follow up but no one did, then the last manager i had to deal with would not listen to me at all when told to send it back so after talking to everyone that works, manages, sweeps floors etc at radio shack from utah to california no one would do anything and my dvd player up and walked away from the store when the last manager was hired and workrs were fired (probably for stealing)
So looks like i got a big rip off that no one would do anything about, and there isnt anyone that can tell me what else to do or to talk to about this as i have spoke to everyone and thier sister from the top of the chain to the bottom.
My best advice to anyone is to not buy anything from radio shack to avoid any problems in the future if one should arrive with the item they purchased because it will be a loss at best.
PS: i have every word and transaction documented with date etc, names number time and place. And i dont want a replacement at this point in time i want the full amont of the purchase back.
