We purchased a Sirius Orbiter satellite radio in December from Radio Shack. I since learned that the radio was going out of production and is now virtually obsolete. The radio quit working in early July while still under warranty. I returned it to the Radio Shack store per the warranty instructions and I have been waiting for a month to get the radio repaired or replaced. I keep getting excuse after excuse. The latest excuse was the Jacksonville repair center returned it to the store and said only the manufacturer can repair the unit. So why didn't they send it to the manufacturer then? I was told by the store manager at the time I brought the unit in that there were no refurbished units available in the area. They won't repair it, they won't replace it. They sold a unit that they knew would be obsolete. What a con and no one ever calls you back when they say they will, either the store or the district office in Orlando. I'll never buy another electronic at Radio Shack again.
