We purchaced a maytag neptune TL machine about 3 1/2 years ago. We invested about $1100 with this machine.in January the clutch went. After I approached Maytag (that will be possessed by whirlpool) they mentioned the component wasn't protected. I'd a repair organization arrived at resolve the fix. The price was $471.79.7 weeks later exactly the same problem accured. After I approached maytag/whirlpool they provided little support. 15% off new machine or 50% off the component (the component is just $160). The work to repair this device is extremely expensive. I can't manage to place another $400 into this device. Maytags keeps telling me the device is aged and nothing else can be achieved. IT IS ONLY 4 YRS OLD!!! Anybody looking to purchase a brand new machine WATCH OUT FOR MAYTAY/WHIRLPOOL.
