I have been with Sprint since 2005. To receive more minutes and a new phone which cost me $99.99 for the same price I had been paying I needed to take the offer that was presented to me by a sales call. I refused the 2 yr contract and then was told I could get a 1 yr agreement. For this offer I did agree. My year ended in July so I was told when I called to check on the exact date. I recently called the beginning of Sept. To cancel my phones and was told I had another year on my contract.
The rip off was they gave me a 1 yr contract on the newer phone and put a 2 yr on a 3 yr old phone which is now a piece of garbage. My contract should have been over a year ago with this phone even if I had 2 contracts.
If you have 1 account how could you have 2 contracts. I did further investigation and was told this is how they make up for the new phone, which I paid for. This phone has not frills, not even a camera and it is garbage also. They drop calls and shut off all the time. Not reliable at all.
I was never told this when I renewed and was not told when I called to see when my contract ended, it was always in July. Not just one person lied but they all did. What can be done? All I can do is spread the word to everyone I know and prevent them from going with this company. I am glad I did not sign up with another company or I would be in 2 contracts and would have been stuck even more.
