My complaint is I used to live in NY i had direct tv I moved to north carolina and called them to have my service switched over in feb. Sometime in march I was notified by my bank that direct tv took out 500.00 out of my account I called them to find out what was going on they said they charged me for early disconnection which I told them I didnt disconnect i switched my service to another state they appologized and said i would have my money back in 7- 10 days that was in march its now august 19th I still have dont have my money back! I called again yesterday a represenative actually told me i owed direct tv 486.00 and that i wasnt getting a refund. He hung up on me i called back and asked for a supervisor he may have straightened it out he asked me again for my debit card number so they can put my money back into my account So I checked today and the money isnt there yet. Since march I have talked to God knows how many reps from that company and how many times they all told me different things the way they handle business is ridiculous. They have been telling me they were sending my check and never did! So I dont know if they are putting the money back! Ive had nothing but problems with this company since day 1. Where i live there is no cable so Im stuck with them!

They also had no permission to go into my account and take anything! Last year they offered me the NFL ticket for free starting in sept. Then I noticed on my bill they were charging me 59.99 a month for this free item! They told me i couldnt cancell it and i was still being charged in march when football ends in feb I said to a rep its supposed to be free her reply was well you watched it and enjoyed it right! They are rip offs and cons im so fed up with them and there miscommunication and there ability to handle business in the most unproffessional way I have ever seen Ive also had reps hang up on me not once but numerous amounts of times! Something needs to be done about them! If your thinking of switching over to them think twice! When they hooked up my service in both states The guy who hooked it up cut my original cable wires for cable so when i wanted to switch back to cable Id have to pay an enormous reconnection fee and i know that was done on purpose! Beware of this company!!!
