I had purchased a sprint phone. I walked in talked with the lady there, I wanted the basics, so i got 200 mins for like 30 dollars. Then i was talking with her that i liked to use yahoo messenger and text message. So she said she could add on unlimited use of both for 5 dollars for the txt messages and 10 for using yahoo. So i'd have a bill of around 45-50 dollars a month.
My first bill is 150 dollars. The next is 187.00. Called and asked them about it, couldn't get a straight answer from anyone. Let alone i could barely understand the person on the other end, i'm all for all people working and stuff, but if ur gonna work on the phones, you should be able to speak fluent english, if i worked in another country, i would assume i woud need to speak their language fluently for people to understand me. I expect the same in return. But no, thats not the case @ sprint.
I got really fed up on the phone with that person asked to be transferred, the next person i couldn't understand either. I hung up. I've called in numerous times asking them to explain every penny they want from me and why a 50 dollar bill turned to over 150. They could not give me one. Reluctantly i paid it. The next month i receive a bill of 187. I was shocked to say the least. I spoke with them, another session of being on hold for hours to get no answers. I've gave up. I will not let these people steal from me. I told them i would pay the 50 dollars i agreed to pay when i signed up with them. Not a penny more, so they turned my account over to collections and now they say I have to take it up with them. THis is outragous. It seems to me that are legally allowed to steal from people.
Something else i want to mention is they sent my grandfather, (whos 91 years old!) a bill of $46,000!! Yes I said thousands. He has the bill hanging up for all to see now when he has company over. He had to fight with them for a couple weeks for them to say yes, it was their mistake. THese people are clearly rip off artists and they have their art down.
Reluctantly, I'll end up havng to let them steal more money from me so it does'nt hurt my credit. Thats their game.

I am letting everyone I know what kind of company this is. My whole family is switching after i told them all this and what happend with my Grandfather. I'm switching to a pre-paid phone so no one else can steal from me from now on. Going with sprint was a big mistake. I'm humiliated for even thinking they were going to be a good company to go with. They truly theives and the government allows them to be.
