I am a new subscriber and I am desperate to get out of this contract. The technician installed everything, and I went to work. That night, the satellite signal was so poor, no shows could be viewed. I scheduled a new appointment to adjust the dish location, but had to cancel since I was going out of town. (Note, I have absolutely nothing obstructing the dish's view of the sky). The technician still showed up on the originally scheduled day. I tried to confirm tonight that the rescheduled date was still on, but the 800 number isn't working.in addition to the horrible reception, they did not honor a promotion that was offered—a movie channel service for $0.01 for a year. I spent a long time on the phone trying to get this honored on the same day that I originally scheduled the technician to fix the crappy install. Days later, I still don't get these movie channels. Again, I can't speak with anybody since the 800 number isn't working. Oh how I miss DirectTV. They may be a few dollars a month more, but they are worth every penny.
