I purchased a pansat 3500 in may online. When I received my unit, I had a hard time getting it to work. After spending some time reading up in a few of the forum sites out there I received confirmation that my unit was in fact a clone and not an actual pansat receiver and heard that several other people had run into the same problem.
After contacting pansatdirect on the phone they told me that it was a real receiver and that if I was unsatisfied I should send it back. Long story short, I sent it back and after calling, emailing, faxing every other day or so since may I haven't been able to contact them except when I block my number. When I was able to get ahold of me, Nick says he has no record of me being a customer and that I have his company mixed up with another dealer.
I'm not happy, I'm out 159 bucks shipping both ways and I strongly suggest people stay away from these guys!!!
