I have 3 items from Aaron's here in Big Spring. I have been paying for our TV for 13mths (only 6 more to go), and the other two items a little less than that. The TV is $2142.00 total, I have paid around $1370.00 so far, the stereo is around $600.00, and the comp is $1100.00. I pay $260.00/mth for all three items (more than my used car pymt). I have been late a few times. I have called them and told them when I was going to be late, came & paid when I said, and agreeably paid the late fees. They have my son's broke stereo for 3 weeks and 3 days now (the employee said that it would be fixed w/in 3-5 days-whatever). I changed my phone number about 3 weeks ago and I CALLED THEM and gave them my new number and told them that I was going to be late w/pymt, "could you please note that in your computer" is what I told the Mgr. Bill. 2 days later they were calling me asking for pymt. BILL didn't note it in the comp. I asked about my stereo, not fixed yet. The next week, they called again. Stupid me, I thought that they were calling about my fixed stereo. Nope, just about the pymt. "Stereo not fixed, but can you at least make a pymt on the other two?" I explained to THAT employee when I was going to be there (3rd person of telling the same thing to). BILL sent another employee to my house this week, I told him when I was going to be there. Stereo not fixed. No, 1 1/2 hrs before they closed yesterday (still enough time for me to come pay), BILL used one of his personal favorite sneaky techniques that he has used before, he called me from someone elses phone 682-560-1109 which is an Arlington number! This is the 4th number that I have for Aarons. Hahaha. Come get your stuff BILL. What a shame-too small of a town to be doing business this way.
