In January I decided to get a cell phone. I went to three different cell phone vendors, Verizon, Cleartalk, and Cingular. I lived in the country and wanted to see which would have the best service at my home. Cleartalk lost service as soon as I turned off the main road. Verizon picked up perfectly. Now is where the problem begins.
I tried to use the Cingular phone, but it dropped my call twice. The next day, I took the Cleartalk phone back. No problem. Then I took the Cingular phone back. A month later, I received a bill for $105.52 for the Cingular phone. I had used the phone for 2 minutes and had the phone for a total of 19 hours!!! I went back to the kiosk where I had originally gotten the phone. They had to find my file somewhere in the back and redo what had supposedly already been done which was CANCEL MY CONTRACT!!!
To this day, I am receiving phone calls from a collection agency for a bill that I absolutely refuse to pay because of their mistake.
