I bought the x2gen 19" LCD computer monitor that had a 50.00 rebate attached and that was 4/28. I see some of the other people who complained about this was way back in 2005. Now i kinda hold the stores where we bought them from somewhat responsible, which in my case was bought at American. And i say that because they knew those people were not paying off the rebates and they are still selling their products, plus the fact that it was a manufactures rebate was not in as big bold letters as the rebate offer. I think they should stand by the advertisement and then be worried about the company paying them. They certainly have more money than i do. I only bought that specific one because of the rebate.
I should have bought it at best buy were the rebate was taken off the product at the cash register. I hate to be taken advantage of by these giants who are already filthy rich. They stole that money from hard working people and seem to be getting away with it. Now i reported it to american and they were suppose to be contacting me and i have not been contacted yet. They were in it together.
