I need to cancel my service with Vonnage. I keep service up to the day I actually deployed thinking I could just email and get things squared away. The response I got back was I needed to call a toll free number I couldn't call from here. I had to dig in the website for a regular number. I need to use a prepaid phone card to call. I get in contact with there cancelation department, and they ask questions that I can't get the answer right exactly. I understand the purpose of this. They want to make sure I am the correct person on the account. However the name of my voip router isn't a high concern for me at the moment (Was one of the questions). I suggest other means to verify myself to find out they don't want to take my suggestions. They have my credit card number, and they won't stop billing it. Appearantly they haven't heard of the Soldiers Saliors Relief Act, nor do they give a damn about me being here. So I am locked in. I am trying to get the bank to stop the transactions, but the response they gave me was I'd have to have Vonnage do it. I really don't understand this, but I feel I am being screwed royally on this.
I don't know if I have a complaint or what you can do to assist me, but I need something done. I wouldn't recommend Vonnage to any of my friends, and it will take me awhile to get to the JAG office. Please respond as soon as possible. I want to get this matter resolved as soon as possible.
