DVD Player not working, can't contact company

Bought a DVD-1002 At local Wal-Mart, got it home and found that the remote would not work, tried two sets of batteries, no go

Tried calling, and email, could not get in touch, read here that company is not functing.

Will go back to Wal-Mart and see what they will do.
