I purchased a Durabrand Model PDV-709 Portable DVD Player only three months ago. It worked fine until one day when the battery died and is now not able to ever charge again. It is now defective. Walmart won't return it because it is past their policy. I have tried to call the 800 number listed for the Lenoxx Electronics but it has been disconnected. I have sent an email to the company which they have not responded to. The warranty information is different online than what my manual says and I am not willing to just send my DVD player along with money to fix it to a company that I am not even able to talk to anyone at. Plus, according to my manual it is under warranty for a year and shouldn't cost me anything. This is extremely poor customer service and if this is how they are going to treat their customers then all of their products should be pulled off of the shelves. That is my next step. I am now going back to Walmart to fight with them that they are selling a crappy/defective product and it should be taken off of their shelves especially if Lenoxx and Walmart will not warranty the product.
