Sales person double speak

Beware what local sales people tell you! I was a Nextel customer with a government account discount (15%). I wanted to upgrade my phone to a PDA phone. I went to a local store in North Logan Utah. The phone I wanted was only a sprint offering. I was assured with the company merger that I would get the comparable plan offering with the same government discount I had with Nextel. I filled out a number of forms. They told me it would take a couple of billing cycles for the discount to appear on the bill.

After a couple of billing cycles I was still not receiving the discount. I called the national business customer support. After months of phone calls and new form submittals, they finally told me no discount would be given. All I wanted was the same account offering I had with Nextel. I based my decision to move to sprint on what was promised. Big mistake! They had access to my Nextel account info.
