11/05 I went to a Verizon Store in Minneapolis, MN to inquire about purchasing two phones and services for twp phones. After waiting several minutes for assistance a rep named Johnny told me about phones and plans that they had on sale. After making my selection the total was for the deposit, equipment and serivce was $657.11. Johnny at the store on Lake Street in Minneapolis, MN had a problem with getting the full amount on my card.

The first charge on my Visa was $357.00 then he did another charge of 100.00 on my credit card all this was done 11/05/07 around 7:00 pm. The store was very busy so I went on and gave him $200.11 cash so he would not charge my card again. Not comfortable with my purchase I waited for someone to assist me. I asked for a refund and I was directed to deal with Johnny again.

So Johnny was clicking away and asked for my credit card he swiped it twice Then he proceeded to explain to me that he did a credit refund for $357.00 and again for $50.11. He continue to explain that $250.00 will be mailed back to me in a check from Verizon Wireless and that I should receive it with in 7 to 10 days.

On 11/20/07 I received an outrageous bill from Verizon in the amount of $451.93. I called 1-800-922-0204 asking about this bill. The rep stated that I used 3mins of service and I was charged $175.00 early termination fee. Upset by this the rep put me on hold. He apologized for the inconvience that this may have caused me and asked me if I used 3 and some sec on a call. I told him no that rep used the phone to test the phone when he installed the new service. He put me on hold again. After several minutes he came back to ask me if I return the equipment in like new condition.

I told him I only had the phone for less than a hour. He tried to twist what I said asked me if I used the serivice for a hour. I hung up and called back inquirying about my money. The next rep told me to disregard the bill and that I should receive a refund by Nov. 1 for the $250.00. He asked that I fax a copy of my receipt. I told him I did not have access to a fax machine and he advised me to goto the store I purchased from and they will send it to their main finance office.

I went to the office and the Manager was out and another rep made copies and took my information and said that the Manager will be in tomorrow and he will fax it off to the finance department. Nov 14 I receive a credit memo from verizon saying that I have a credit of $243.00. I called the 1-800-922-0204 and asked where is the other $7.00 and when I will be getting my check. This rep again told me that he was sorry for the problems that this may have caused. He stated that I was misinformed. It takes 2 billing cycles before I get my
refund. That it has to go through the system and the taxes and fee will be adjusted out and a check will sent out. The process takes 6 to 8 weeks to
complete. He ended the call stating that I should receive a check before Jan 1.

I called again and got Molly. Molly stated that she will fill out a form to escallate this process because I never had service with verizon. She asked for my credit card number, the transation number and the amounts. She explained to me that it will take 3 to 4 days for the finance department to give a status and then afterwards I should receive a check mailed to the address that I verifed in 7 to 10 after the 4 days. She told me if there is a problem or anymore information need that she would call me on home phone of 952-303-6074.

Jan 2 I called again and another rep told me and asked me the same thing that Molly told me back in Dec. I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and the rep explained to me that no one is available to assist me. I called back again and I was told the same thing again and that supervisor will be calling me back after he personally walk the information to him. He promised me that someone will be calling me back shortly. No one have. Jan 8 still have not received my refund!
For 4 months I have been getting nothing but excuses. I was told that I will be getting my check for $250.00 within 7 to 10 days, 2 to 3 weeks and even two to three billing cycles.

Today 1/15/08, I got another excuse from Verizion Wireless by way of a letter stating that I need to contact them because my information has been changed with a Quick Bill Summary stating a credit of $245.52. I have not changed my information nor given any reason why they are taking $4.48 from my refund. Verizon rep can not explain way I am being charged $4.48 for serivce I only had for a hour. The rep stated that he will put a request to stop payment on the $245.52 to put in a request for the $250.00 which will take 6 to 8 weeks before I get another check. Verizon is a multimillion dollar a day company why are they trying to steal $4.48 and prolong paying back my money.

This process should not take this long 4 months and to top it off ripping me off.
