I purchased Olevia 242v flat panel tv on 11-23 with the rebate offer of 200.00. Sent all forms and documents in just as they stated, only to get a e-mail and a post card stating that the upc was a copy and not the original. This is completly false just like the other person stated on the same product how do they recieve a letter with the orginal serial # and receipts but not the upc. This is clearly a scam.
The post card they sent me said that I can Resubmitt the original upc. The card states to return to the above mentioned address which does not exist, the only address that is listed on the post card is the return address of the post card (P.O. Box 52902 Phoenix, AZ with a referenced dept # that is the same as the first rebate form I sent out to Niagara Falls, NY. This address is on the opposite of the card as the statement that says above mentioned address. I kept the box just for this reason and have another upc but not sure where to send it. If I lose this one I'm just out of UPC symbols.
I have sent out two e-mails to the rebate web site addres and have not had a response yet. If you try to call the # listed this is also a dead end.
I'm overall happy with the product but very disappointed with the rebate. I may return this product just because of the rebate
