Dave, isreal sent the wrong product, sent used refurbished item, accused me of lying, kept my money after i returned the item

I purchased a zr100 camcorder from camerasforless.com on 12/11 and received it on 12/13. Upon receipt of the package we noticed the accessories were missing. I contacted them immediatley via phone and followed with an email requesting the accessories be sent.

They called me a liar and said they would send the accessories and then refused to send the accessories and then agreed. Several emails later they stated that they sent the wrong camera to me, upon unwrapping the item—it was a gift—and finding it was not only lacking the accessories but the wrong model, we decided to send it back.

It was received by them on 12/19 and signed for. They are now refusing to refund my money stating that they have filed a police report and are attempting to have me arrested for internet fraud. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company, the BBB, and the New York Attorney General. They would like to keep my money and the camcorder.

Regarding the zr300 mistake, my husband and I assumed when we opened the package that it was a zr100- since that is what we ordered-in a zr300 box—that perhaps you had sold it to someone and resold it without checking— which explains the missing accessories, we did not check the camera because we were too concerned about the missing accessories, but by the time you sent the email that it was a zr300 (several days later)-we couldnt check until we arrived home as it was wrapped as an intended gift—upon finding that, and amongst other issues with your company we decided to return it. You can see in the emails that we werent trying to steal a 300 or commit fraud of any kind-we were only wanting the accessories that were supposed to arrive with the camcorder—that is not considered fraud in America.in fact, I have all the emails requesting accessories for a zr100—so that further proves that I thought your company was just sending me a refurbished camera in the wrong box—because arent the 100 accessories different from the 300 accessories? You can pretend the camera was scratched but I took pictures of it before sending it back because I thought your company might be shifty enough to suggest damage so that you could lessen my refund, the camera remained in the box that it came in and was wrapped. Regardless of what you intend to do, by FEDERAL law you are required to return my money as you have the item back that I paid for, and you cant keep both. Any further correspondence will be through my attorney.

Also, I thought I would inform you that as of 10:49 am EST today you were in violation of the Consumer Sales Practice Act by not having the money refunded to me—if you look it up, you have precisely 10 days upon receipt of the returned item to refund the money. So I want it back in there TODAY. I have been patient enough. The courts are open Monday which is when I intend to have my sister file a civil suit against you for this violation along with everything else you have put me through—which also means you will also have to pay a hefty fine for this violating a Federal ACT, as well as all of the other aspects mentioned in the previous email. So if the money is not back in there tonite by midnite (which is more than 13 hours after your legal deadline), I guess I will see you in court very soon.

And that doesnt prove there were accessories in the wrong box—which is what I have been complaining about—pay attention—I never said I didnt receive a camcorder—I said I didnt receive the accessories.
Either ship them out or pay to ship it back.

These are the things that have been said about your company, I sent this to UPS and to my credit card company to back up my complaint about the missing accessories, all you had to do DAVE was send me what you should have instead of insulting me by accusing me of lying and telling me that you had pictures. I will also wait one hour for your response before I file with the BBB and the FTC, and usacomplaints.com, shopping.com, and be sure that I will forward the complaints to you. You can refund me the money for the accessories and shipping charges since the whole thing wasnt overnighted, overnight the accessories and refund original shipping charges, or send me an RA# to send your partial shipment back to you and when you receive it, refund the ENTIRE amount. ONE HOUR before I smear your business's name ALL over the internet.

FRAUD!!! BEWARE.

Recently my wife bought dsc707 sony. They promised it was new pc. A wrong model was shipped and it had scratches and was junk - when my wife called him back they were absolutely rude - particularly one sales person called david. Who claimed that he was the managing director for this fraudalent company and refused to take it back even with restocking charges. So please please beware of this whole gang...

Beware this Place Sells Gray Market Cameras

When I called the manufacturer they would not give me support because the serial market was not valid (gray market, knock off).

When I tried to get my money back they wouldn't answer phone, email etc. Finally my credit card company had to fight with them. Eight months later after lawyers for my credit card threatened to take them to court they acquiesced and refunded my money.

This company has a terrible reputation — any good reviews are probably submitted by their employees or friends of the owner.

Avoid this trap. They speedily take your order and payment then disappear. They sent only part of my order then failed to respond to phone calls or emails inquiring about the rest of the order. As a result, I had to repack and return the incomplete order, then deal with my credit card company about reversing the charges. Save yourself the hassle... You now know beforehand that they are dishonest.

Do NOT buy anything from these people. We had a camera problem and wanted to return it. The guy told my husband to call him back on his cell phone because the store was closed. My husband did call him back and the guy put him on hold for a very long time. Read full review...

I purchased a large amount of Camera's SD110, - I was a international shopper. They wanted the money upfront, this I did, never heard from them for weeks, and weeks, emailed them, nothing!!! So I used another email address, saying I wanted to purchased, and - got an email back within an hour. I called them so many times, NOTHING, the could provide no tracking number, NOTHING, bottom line here is they took my money, and never sent them. They still to this day have the Camera's on site, but have none of them in stock. DONT TRUST THESE GUYS, THEY are bad business people, customer service was so bad, for such a large order, and I am talking about Thousands of dollers worth I gave these guys. All they said is - well they are lost, and we wont give a refund, they could give me no proof the sent them NOTHING. They never did! SO DONT TOUCH THESE GUYS. SO BE AWARE!

That was quite an offensive response—perhaps you should check with your carrier regarding this matter— and if you took a picture, then you have proof also that some less than observant FOOL put the camcorder in the wrong box.in fact, I am requesting that you send me that picture and I will appeal to UPS since the mistake was not yours then some OTHER DUMBASS opened the box and ONLY TOOK THE ACCESSORIES. And they were so nice as to leave the most expensive thing in the box. Highly unlikely—but please do forward me that picture and I hope it has the date on it as well as another picture of you placing it in the box that is addressed to me as well as a picture of a ZR100 in a ZR300 box which would mean you arent just using some stock picture that you have to "prove" the contents of all of your products purchased online.

This camera was a zr 100 in a broken zr300 box with only tv cables included and a manual, and according to the manual, there was supposed to be a usb cable, an ac adaptor, a lithium cr616 battery, a li-ion battery and a lens cover. Perhaps this camera was returned/refurbished? It wasnt even in the correct box!!! Obviously something was wrong there in the packing department. If you dont want to send the accessories, I can either send the camera back to you—although I will need to know very soon as it is wrapped up and will be given as a gift tonight, or you can credit me the amount to purchase the accessories for the camera. I would appreciate your posthaste response.
