So I buy this MP3 player buy.com had for $65. Just a basic player. We get it and know it has a 15 day return/warranty. Sure as you know it, it died the second day. So, it had taken 5 days to get it, 2 days to find its bad... So this was day 7.
The morning of day 8 I contact buy.com. Day 10, I get an email from buy.com to fill out information on the purchase of what happened, I do so. We pass over a weekend and get to day 13... No response. Day 14 I get an email saying the item is out of their warranty and I will have to contact the manufacturer. I explain the above and they said this was day 15, the warranty started the second I bought it, not as when it shipped.
I ended up contacting the manufacturer. They do the RMA, and repair but instead, they ship me the MP3 player which was for sale on Buy.com for $35. Wow... Now I really feel screwed. I have promised I will tell everyone about how BUY.com royally screwed me.
