Sells Broken Merchandise Without Refunds. Scam., Hazleton, Wilkes Barre

DIGITAL ADDITION's Store Policy Victimizes Consumers By Allowing Themselves To Sell Defective Merchandise Without Refunds.

This report was created after a retail store cheated a consumer by selling a defective laser printer and refused a refund.in addition, the retail store's owner administratively falsely attacked the consumer's military medical condition in retaliation for the consumer complaining to the Better Business Bureau.

The victim recently purchased a color laser printer from DIGITAL ADDITION. The laser printer was defective. DIGITAL ADDITION didn't have a working color laser printer to replace the defective printer. The consumer kindly requested money back on the defective printer so he could buy a working printer elsewhere. DIGITAL ADDITION's owner, Arlington Andrews Jr., arrogantly denied him money back and quoted store policy that he doesn't give money back, even on his defective merchandise. This is obviously stealing.

If you get a chance, stop by the store and ask for a test print on the Samsung CLP-300 color laser printer and you'll see what type of merchandise DIGITAL ADDITION sells. You'll also notice the Samsung CLP-300s are all demo models with advertisement cardboards and none come with instructions. This is what DIGITAL ADDITION is selling to consumers.

DIGITAL ADDITION's unethical store policy allows them to hurt unsuspecting consumers. Their strict no-return policy forces customers with defective items to exchange them for unwanted or other crappy merchandise. How can this store deny money back on newly returned defective items? This store is selling defective merchandise for a profit.

In addition, DIGITAL ADDITION's cruel and unethical store policy was hidden under computer towers on the countertop; and probably still is. Store policies should be posted in plain view without any obstructions.

The Better Business Bureau and other consumer agencies don't have enough control over store policies.

Most consumers don't expect to be ripped off by a store. So most people go about their shopping without ever asking stores what their store policies are. Most stores take great care of their customers.

In addition, DIGITAL ADDITION has stressed this poor consumer over the past few weeks. The consumer complained to the Better Business Bureau about DIGITAL ADDITION's unfair return policy.in retaliation, DIGITAL ADDITION's owner, Arlington Andrews Jr., maliciously attacked the consumer's military medical condition in his response letter to the BBB. The store even had mall security chase off the consumer. The consumer begged for a refund in a letter sent to Mr. Andrews.

The letter to Mr. Andrews stated that the money spent for the printer was meant to help veteran's programs. The victim/consumer suffers from post traumatic stress disorder and depression from Iraq and has always provided great support to veterans' and community programs and charities. Mr. Andrews just ignored the letter.instead, Mr. Andrews called the police in an attempt to further hurt the consumer/veteran.

DIGITAL ADDITION's owner, Andrews Arlington Jr., bragged to the consumer about other customers' failed attempts for refunds. Andrews arrogantly stated, "It has been tried. You won't get what you want." Arlington's heartless statements and actions are the sole reasons for creating this website. Mr. Andrews has admitted to hurting other consumers. We want to prevent this from happening again by educating the public about DIGITAL ADDITION's unethical store policy of not giving refunds on their defective merchandise.

People need to be aware of corrupt stores like DIGITAL ADDITION that victimize consumers.

Digital Addition's self-written store policy shouldn't give them the power to sell garbage to people for profit.
